Junior CDC project Accountants

Keep approved budget lines and reconcile that payments are in line with the stated budget line.

Prepare payments, cheque, receipt, journal vouchers

Record daily payment transaction to register book and ledger using peachtree and other recommended software’s

Prepare monthly bank reconciliation of cash account

Produce monthly, quarterly and semi-annual and annual financial statement

Produce “SOE” on a quarterly basis on specific reporting formats

Prepare monthly payroll of staffs working on this project and pay income tax collected in due time to the nearby internal Revenue Authority.

Pay all VAT and with hold tax collected from any procurement and pay to the internal Revenue Authority as per the existing regulations

Providing assistance to external audits 

Assist regional office supervision teams in providing the necessary document for review and any financial explanations deemed necessary,

Monitor and supervise financial utilizations in the zonal, Hospitals and Health Centers,

Participate in program and financial review meetings

Keep all the budgets, expenditures, reports and advances in appropriate spreadsheets and documents

Always ensure compliance with the requirement of donors grant management, financial management and closure procedures

Execute additional task as instructed from the regional office       


BA Degree in Accounting

At least five years of progressive experience on donor driven Grant management skill.

Having especial familiarity on CDC, USAID, GF, UN and related donor supported program is an added asset.

Good skill of using Peachtree program and other donor finance management software is also additional input

Duration of contract:


  • For vacancy No. 1, 2, 3, 4,  and 5 up to September 2016 with possible extension depend on performance.
  • For Vacancy No. 6 for 11 month with possible extension depend on performance
  • For vacancy No. 7 and 8 for one year with possible extension depend on performance
  • Additional Benefits : For CDC funded position 31% of their salary additional benefit package
